Uncomfortably close pass where the road narrows at a bridge over a drain

It's a terrible bit of infrastructure - the road narrows at this point to allow golfers to cross more easily from the club house on the left to the other part of the golf course on the right. No thought given to cyclist safety though. But that's really not an excuse for drivers failing to slow momentarily to ensure they can pass safely.
