Turning Vehicle Occupied Cycle Lane and Almost Hit Cyclist

Southbound vehicles were queued up on Wairakei Road before its intersection with Blighs Road. A Volkswagen SUV (Plate Number: FSW536) wanted to jump the queue to turn left into Blighs Road. The SUV recklessly drove into the cycle lane without looking for cyclists. The SUV almost hit the cyclist and kept on encroaching into the cycle lane until fully taken the cycle lane.
