Crash with motocross
14 May, 2025 - 1 year ago - on Depotvej A stolen competition motocross bike was ridden irresponsibly on a designated bike path. The rider accelerated while braking in a corner, causing the wheels to slide and the bike to crash. Unfortunately, this happened right behind me while I was cycling, and the motocross took me and my bike out from behind, slamming me into a barrier.
I was lucky to walk away from the accident with only a broken left wrist, extensive skin abrasions, and a broken front fork on my bike. The motocross rider was unharmed.
No information about the rider was available, as the bike was stolen and illegally operated on public roads without a registration plate. The incident was reported to the police but dismissed due to the lack of a registration plate. It was also reported to the insurance company, but no coverage was provided, as the motocross rider is considered responsible and bears the financial liability.
