Bike lane converted to curbside parking

Since at least 2020, Burton's Bar & Grill has unilaterally converted the bike lane to curbside parking. As of April 2023, parking spaces still replace the bike lane. The county required a continuous bike lane here as a condition of approving the development plan. However, the county is not willing to enforce that requirement. In addition to putting people on bikes at unnecessary risk, the parking in the bike lane also obstructs a fire hydrant and a portion of the vehicle travel lane, adding to conflicts approaching the traffic signal.
